MORE will design and supply state-of-the-art technological packages for the new DANIELI single bucket charge 195-sht EAF, to be installed in the NORTH STAR BLUESCOPE (Delta, Ohio, U.S.A.) meltshop.
The new EAF will be equipped with the M-ONE chemical energy package, the MOLI pneumatic lime injection system, a Lindarc® EVO off-gas analysis system and Zero-Men-Around suit packages, to eliminate all the manned activities on the melting floor. The application of these innovative technological packages extends the automatic control of the EAF melting process to all operations, from charging to tapping. Minimising power-off times, enhancing reliability and improving transformation costs. The new plant will be commissioned by the end of 2021.
