Last month, Chinese melt shops Tangshan Zhonghou Special Steel and Changshu Longteng Special Steel simultaneously commissioned the new #Danieli ECS-Endless Charging System Electric Arc Furnaces, equipped with MORE’s chemical energy package.
Tangshan Zhonghou Special Steel, located in the Hebei Province, commissioned an Ultra-High Power EAF equipped with M-ONE combined oxy/carbon injectors and a PALMUR side-wall supersonic lance manipulator.
Changshu Longteng Special Steel, located in the Jiangsu Province, have put into operation an Ultra-High Power EAF equipped with oxygen/carbon side-wall injectors, a PARPI slag-door supersonic lance manipulator, and a CATFIS automatic temperature/sampling manipulator.
MORE also supplied both EAFs with oxygen/natural gas valve stands, carbon dispensers, and a software automation system.
With these two new EAFs in operation, MORE has installed its chemical energy package in 14 EAFs in the Chinese market over the past three years; an additional six systems are currently under construction.
