A US- and Mexico-based minimill have recently decided to successfully employ our STROP manipulator for EBT tap hole cleaning. Alongside this, another piece of equipment has just passed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in our workshop before being delivered to a new US-based melt shop.

STROP equipment is part of our ZERO MEN AROUND technological packages and is hydraulically swiveling and lifting device used to free the EBT tap hole from any obstruction, enabling fast and reliable operation without manual intervention.

15 STROP manipulators are currently in operation or undergoing manufacturing in Electric Arc Furnaces across Europe, USA, Mexico, and North Africa.
