MORE has successfully completed the functional factory test of a MODIVE sampling and measuring lance manipulator for a ladle furnace, prior to shipment to a leading European customer.

MODIVE is a multi-axis manipulator developed to automate essential steelmaking operations. The system can measure steel temperature, carbon and oxygen levels, while also collecting samples for chemical analysis.

During the factory test, MORE’s technical team verified the correct operation of the main handling, measuring and sampling functions. The successful outcome confirmed that the system is ready for final packing and delivery.

Factory testing is a key stage in MORE’s production process. It allows each system to be thoroughly checked before shipment, helping ensure reliable performance, safe operation and smooth plug-and-work commissioning at the customer’s site.
