MORE has recently secured two important orders from leading steel producers in the United States for the supply of CATFIS 2.1 sampling and measuring lance manipulators, designed to operate directly through the slag door of electric arc furnaces.
The CATFIS 2.1 system is a multi-axis manipulator developed to perform critical EAF operations such as sampling and temperature measurement while keeping operators away from hazardous areas on the melting floor.
Thanks to its compact structure and flexible configuration, the system can be installed even in constrained spaces while maintaining full control of movements and trajectories.
Designed specifically for the harsh environment of steelmaking plants, CATFIS 2.1 ensures reliability, fast cycle times and simplified maintenance.
